Income Tax raids on biryani joint Meghana Foods' outlets in Bengaluru
The Income Tax Department conducted raids at outlets of Meghana Foods across Bengaluru on Tuesday. The raids were reportedly carried out at multiple locations, including Koramangala, Indiranagar and Jayanagar and begun as early as 5:00 am. According to reports, officials cited discrepancies in income tax payments as the reason for conducting the raids.

Govt launches CAA mobile app
The Ministry of Home Affairs in a post on its X handle said that the 'CAA-2019' mobile app for making application under Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 has become operational. "Applicants can download app from Google play store. It can also be downloaded from website - https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in," the ministry added.
